If you're the Incident Controller, you need to monitor SAR resources and keep them safe. You may also re-task SAR resources where appropriate.

Check the activities of different SAR resources:
If you notice that tasked resources are working in the same area and may pose a risk to each other, you need to intervene.
For example, you may notice several aircraft you are monitoring are inadvertently using the same airspace. In this case, you need to take immediate action to keep SAR resources safe.
As a general rule, do not re-task SAR resources until a debrief has been completed. A debrief will help the Incident Controller and the Incident Management Team understand the situation better and plan further actions.
