If you're the Incident Controller, you can choose to mobilise SAR resources that have been activated. Before you do this, you need to complete several actions.
You must confirm with the SAR organisation that has the activated SAR resource that you want to mobilise it. You can choose not to mobilise all the SAR resources you have activated. You can keep some activated resources in reserve in case you need them later.
Let the SAR organisation know what needs to be done with the SAR resource, and what its tasks will be. You also need to let the SAR organisation know:
Consider all the functions and responsibilities described in the Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS). These functions should be delegated to people on the Incident Management Team.
